Breton Electrochemical Division

Breton has received from the EIT Raw Materials a three-years financing for development of innovative materials for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFC)

Breton is proud to announce that, together with several academic and industrial partners from EC, has received from the EIT Raw Materials a three-years financing for development of innovative materials for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFC), the core of next hydrogen-fed cars and forklifts.
In particular, the Electrochemical Division of R&D Dept. of Breton will focus the activities for the production optimization and upscaling of innovative catalysts adopted in PEMFC together with deep electrochemical characterization.

The EIT RawMaterials, initiated and funded by the EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology), a body of the European Union, is the largest consortium in the raw materials sector worldwide. Its vision is to develop raw materials into a major strength for Europe. Its mission is to enable sustainable competitiveness of the European minerals, metals and materials sector along the value chain by driving innovation, education and entrepreneurship.
